Jab Counter Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

Our Philosophy

We believe your health and fitness data is some of the most personal information you own. Our privacy policy is simple: We do not collect, store, or share your data. We have no servers, no databases, and no interest in your personal information.

1. HealthKit Data

Jab Counter uses the Apple HealthKit framework to provide its core functionality. With your explicit permission, the app accesses:

  • Workouts: To log your boxing sessions.
  • Heart Rate & Calories: To calculate your effort and help you close your rings.
  • Age & Physical Metrics: To ensure accurate calorie and intensity calculations.

All data is processed locally on your Apple Watch and iPhone. Jab Counter never transmits this data to any external server.

2. No Personal Data Collection

Jab Counter does not require an account, email registration, or any form of login. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not use third-party analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising SDKs.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. Your data remains securely stored in the encrypted Apple Health database on your device and is only shared with Apple Health if you grant permission.

4. Your Control

You can revoke Jab Counter’s access to your HealthKit data at any time through the Settings app on your iPhone or Apple Watch under Privacy & Security > Health.

If you have questions about our commitment to your privacy, please reach out.
